My sister and I had a great time at the Flagstaff Hut. The scenic vistas hiking along the lake were beautiful. I cannot say enough about the staff. Scott and Garret were great. The great food and friendly atmosphere could not have made the trip any better. Thanks so much , hope to return this winter .

Stratton Brook was amazing. The accomodations were great and having hearty trail food for breakfast lunch and dinner was amazing after being out on the trail all day. I'll definitely come back as soon as possible.

As a family, we take annual backpacking trips. Being new to the hut experience, I have learned there is nothing better than ending your long hike at a Maine Hut! You are greeted by an enthusiastic staff and treated to fantastic homemade meals. The huts are exceptionally cared for, and the staff work very hard to make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend Maine Huts & Trails!
Great mountain biking, plush hut accomocations , and great food

Food is tasty and made of fresh, local ingredients. Bring sheets, blankets (sleeping bag) and a pillowcase and you will sleep like a bear. We ran into some seriously muddy spots and some of the trails were not well marked, but overall the mountain biking trails are good and getting better all the time because the local community is dedicated to making their trails system easy to use. The area has so much to offerall year round. I will be back for more and I will bring friends and family to share the wonderful experience offered by the Maine Huts and Trails system.

The Maine Huts and Trails are remarkable. We stayed at the Flagstaff Hut in July. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable,the food mouth-watering, the facilities clean and comfortable. We tried a couple of trails--all well marked and very scenic!
