Join Maine Huts and North Spore Mushrooms July 28-30th at Stratton Brook Hut for a weekend dedicated to mushrooms!

Weekend guests will arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a casual Friday night dinner. After breakfast Saturday morning, guests partake in a foraging hike on the Maine Huts trail network with North Spore educator Louis Giller. Saturday afternoon will focus on mushroom cultivation. A curated dinner with guest chef Pete Uzell and a party with outdoor fire finishing the day off Saturday night. After breakfast Sunday morning, guests pack up their gear and head down to the Stratton Brook Trailhead at noon.

Special Guests
Louis Giller helps to coordinate many of North Spore's educational events including the Maine Fungi Fest. Louis has spent over 10 years growing and hunting mushrooms from coast to coast and loves nothing more than getting into the woods to hike or mountain bike and look for highly prized wild foods.
Chef Pete Uzzell, formerly of Eventide, Hugo's, and the Oxbow Beer Garden. Locavore Chef with a fervency for sustainability. An avid forager, fermentor, and gardener.

Beer and wine will be for sale.
We provide pillows and mattresses, you bring a light sleeping bag, pillowcase and towels. A suggested packing list will be provided for guests.
