KINGFIELD, Maine - Celebrate the beginning of winter and take a break from holiday shopping with a relaxing yoga retreat in the woods at Maine Huts & Trails. This weekend retreat is happening from Saturday, December 16, to Sunday, December 17.
|Fuel up on rest and relaxation to prepare for the rest of the holiday season.|
Certified Maine guide and Kripalu yoga/meditation teacher Kimberly Truskowski will be leading a rejuvenating yoga experience at Maine Huts & Trails. Join her for locally sourced meals, yoga and meditation offerings and leave feeling renewed, refreshed and ready for the holidays.
"We're excited to host events that focus on relaxation in an outdoor setting. Taking time for yourself can be a renewing experience and adds a sense of calm to the holiday season," says Cayce Frigon, director of communications and marketing at Maine Huts & Trails.
Kripalu yoga is a style that focuses on the body, mind and energy. The practice involves deep inner focus, meditation, standard yoga poses, breath work, development of a quiet mind, and relaxation.
