Sample Hut Menu

Maine Huts & Trails is really all about the food, and with our team of local farmers and artisans, we’ve taken backcountry cuisine to a whole new level. Since we only use the best ingredients, our menu is dependent on the local harvest; the following is an example of food sometimes served at the huts, and is always subject to change. If you’re planning a trip with us and have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you make the reservation so we can plan accordingly.

Breakfast: Included with overnight reservations

Served at 7:30 AM, family style. Bacon or sausage, Carrabassett Coffee, and a quality tea selection are always included.

Even if you’re not staying at the huts, you can still grab lunch without reservations on Saturdays and Sundays, during full-service seasons, from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.*

In the summer, we’ll usually have a few sandwich options and a soup of the day, as well as chips, salads, beer, wine, and soda. In the winter, you can expect baked goods and soups instead of sandwiches, with the same great selection of wine, beer, and more. If you’re spending the night, a bagged trail lunch is included with your stay. Here are some example of what could be available:
