Join us at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center for Fat Tire Day on Saturday, February 10th.
Free and open to all ages, join us for Sugarloaf's annual Fat Tire Race, Bike Demos, Guided Bike Rides, Live Music and cold beer donated by Baxter Brewing.
The annual Sugarloaf Fat Tire Race starts at 9am.
Poplar Hut & Stratton Brook Hut will be open for lunch during the weekend. It is a fun outing on a fat bike and a great excuse to fill your belly full of great food.
Other events at the Outdoor Center:
9am-4pm there will be local bike shops setup outside offering free fat tire bike demos. This is a great chance for both new and experienced riders to get out and try fat tire biking on an extensive network of groomed trails. In addition to the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center trails, riders will be able to access the Maine Huts & Trails and Carrabassett Valley Trails.
Noon-4pm cold beverages available that are donated by our friends at Baxter Brewing and music by the Freemont Street String Band. Donations encouraged, 100% of all proceeds will be donated to the Carrabassett Valley Trails Network!
