Fly Fishing with Four Peaks Guide Service

Trip Description

Grand Falls Hut

Come fly fishing spring or summer with Four Peaks Guide Service at Grand Falls Hut! All levels of experience are welcome; the guides will have tips and tricks for any skill level. Native brook trout and landlocked salmon are abundant in the Dead River, and fly-fishing in the remote wilderness of Western Maine is the experience of a lifetime.

During your stay you'll learn casting techniques, fly and knot trying, fly identification, strategies for reading and wading in the water, fly-fishing safety and etiquette, and catch and release techniques.

Grand Falls Hut is the most remote and secluded hut, featuring fabulous views and easy access to the Grand Falls waterfall. The perfect location for swimming, paddling, and fishing, Grand Falls Hut is currently the northernmost hut in the system. Hot showers and 3 meals are included during your stay.

Poplar Hut

Have you ever followed a mountain stream while fishing for native brook trout? Join Four Peak sGuide Service for a walk along swirling, clear waters, stopping at deep, shaded pools to cast a fly. They might not be giants, but these brook trout are rare, wild gems. End the day relaxing on the cozy porch at Poplar Hut. Hot showers and 3 meals included during your stay.
