Airport Trail (Maine Hut Trail)
A beginner forest trail which starts out flat and then increases to rolling terrain. This quiet trail runs parallel to the Carrabassett River, and offers a beautiful winter woods experience. Park at the Airport Trailhead, then cross the Carrabassett River and follow the Maine Hut Trail into the woods on the right. This is the first section of trail to access Poplar Stream Hut.
