Turn your next getaway into something unforgettable with a private hut rental just for your group. In 2026, Flagstaff Lake and Stratton Brook Huts are open from May 15th through November 2nd. Bring your school, community group, family retreat and more. A staff member will greet you on-site, handle check-in, and walk you through all the amenities so you can settle in and start enjoying your time right away.

- Guest pack in and pack out all items, and are responsible for cooking and cleaning. Gear shuttles are included.
- 50 miles of trail, linking to miles of additional hiking and biking trails stewarded by our partners CRNEMBA, the Town of Carrabassett Valley, Sugarloaf, Bigelow Preserve, Appalachian Trail, Northern Forest Canoe Trail, and the Eastern Divide Trail.

Pricing
- Rates start for weekday stays at $1,350 per night. Weekend rates start at $1,500.
- Minimum rate covers up to 20 guests. Price increases as guests increase.
- Special pricing for school groups

Your stay includes:
- Full hut and bunk rooms entirely for your group
- Round trip gear shuttle for your hut stay
- Use of the hut kitchen: includes pots, pans, dishes, silverware, basic cooking ingredients (oil, seasonings, sugar), refrigerator, and freezer. Meals and food are not included.
- Indoor bathroom with hot showers (soap included), Clivus composting toilets, and sinks.
- At Flagstaff Lake Hut: canoes, kayaks, paddles, and PFDs

What to bring:

- Food for your stay. Food is not provided for our summer self-service stays.
Additional Information:
- Huts sleep between 44 and 48 individuals, and have between 7 and 10 bunk rooms. Bunk rooms sleep between 3 and 12 guests. Each room contains a mattress and pillow, guests will need to bring a sleeping bag/sleeping liner and pillowcase. There is no tent camping around the outside of the hut.
- Our trails are always open to the public. While you will have the hut to yourself, the trails will still be publicly used.
- Cancellations 45 days prior to trip will receive the 25% deposit as a refund. Cancellations within 45 days of the trip are NON-REFUNDABLE.
