The coziest Hut you’ll ever stay in!
Our off-grid facilities offer all of the services you need to enjoy the Maine backcountry with minimal packing.
Here’s what to expect during your stay:
Winter
Day Visitors
- Lunch from 12:00 – 2:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Hut lunches generally include soups, sandwiches and baked goods. Prices range from $1 for cookies, to $12 for soup/sandwich combos.
- Free coffee and tea available all day. Donations appreciated!
- A selection of wine and beer is available for purchase at the huts.
- Access to toilet facilities
- Potable drinking water
- Access to the reading area and great room with fireplace
Overnight Guests
Full-Service stay
- Dinner, breakfast, and lunch (included in the cost of your overnight stay). Lunch is available as a trail lunch for your day’s adventure OR a lunch served at the Hut. Trail lunches vary but may include sandwiches, wraps, fruit, and other snacks. Hut lunches generally include soup, a sandwich, and baked goods.
- A selection of wine and beer is available for purchase at the huts.
- Free coffee and tea
- Bunk with foam mattress and pillow (please bring a sleeping bag and pillowcase)
- Heat – the main hut and bunkhouses have radiant floor heating and are heated up to 50°F
- Great room with sofas and fireplaces, and access to books and games in the library area
- Each hut has up to two Pack N Plays and one high chair that may be reserved at time of booking.
- Drying room for wet gear
- Lighting
- Potable water
- Private hot showers with biodegradable soap, composting toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Optional gear shuttles from trailheads to our Huts
- Please pack out what your pack in, especially non-compostable trash!
Self-Service Stay
- Guest bring their own food. With the exception of food, you get all of the Full-Service amenities above
- Access to kitchen facilities for cooking and preparing meals, Dishes and silverware included.
- Gas stove and cooktop, refrigerator, and all our pots, pans, oil, and basic cooking gear for use
- Free coffee and tea
- Please pack out what your pack in, especially non-compostable trash!



Summer
Day Visitors
- Our trails are always free! No fee or membership required.
- Please respect if a hut is occupied with a rental. If not, each hut has a screened porch that is open with indoor seating.
- Porches contain bike tools, pump, and bike stands.
- Outside picnic tables
- Huts are open on select weekends. Check our Events page or social media for updates!
Summer Hut Rentals
- Full commercial kitchen w/cooking utensils, silverware, dishware, spices, and oils
- Free coffee, tea, and potable water
- Canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life vests at Flagstaff Hut
- Outdoor firepits
- Bunks with foam mattresses and pillows (please bring sleeping bag and pillowcase)
- Great room with sofas and fireplace
- Books and games in the lounge
- Potable water
- Private hot showers with biodegradable soap, modern composting toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Drying room for wet gear
- One or two Pack-n-plays and a high chair.
- Outlets in select rooms are C-PAP compatible
- AED and first aid kit onsite
