Maine Huts & Trails is surrounded by cold mountain streams, crashing waterfalls, and serene lakes and rivers. During the heat of summer, there’s nothing better than finding a trail side swimming hole to cool off mid-hike. If you’re staying at Flagstaff Lake Hut, you have access to a shallow, sandy shoreline. Poplar Stream Hut is a short hike to two amazing waterfalls, and Grand Falls Hut is near the Dead River, the perfect place for a dip.
