Flagstaff Foliage & Historical Weekend

Experience stunning fall foliage and living history at Flagstaff Lake Hut. Stay overnight Friday and/or Saturday with private rooms. Enjoy the 250th Anniversary Reenactment of Benedict Arnold’s March to Quebec on Saturday and Sunday nearby. Saturday evening features a lumber camp-style bean supper and original bluegrass music by the Sandy River Ramblers. Join us for music and dinner or stay the whole weekend; don’t miss this event! The History

In 1775, Benedict Arnold and 1,100 Continental troops marched from Massachusetts to Quebec. They passed through the the area known as the Great Carrying Place Portage Trail, located just south of Flagstaff Lake Hut. For the 250th anniversary of the march, visiting historians will be putting on reenactments nearby and more.

The Music

We are thrilled to welcome local favorites the Sandy River Ramblers to Flagstaff Lake Hut. Their foot-stomping bluegrass music will be sure to delight all listeners. Check out some of their live performances.

Flagstaff Lake Hut

Our lakeside hut offers some of the best lodging on Flagstaff Lake. Guests will be greeted with bright birch forests, lakeside trails, day-use canoes, kayaks, and some of the best birding in the area.

  • Per person: $155 Adult/$95 Youth (12 and under)
  • Guests wishing to use the free gear shuttle must have bags in the gear shed at the Flagstaff Trailhead by 2pm.
Two night Friday and Saturday stay, includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner + music, Sunday breakfast, and a bagged lunch. Purchase Tickets
  • Per person: $295 Adult/$180 Youth
  • Guests wishing to use the free gear shuttle must have bags in the gear shed at Flagstaff Trailhead by 4pm.
