Winter Volunteer Caretaker Training

Interested in caretaking at a hut this winter, or looking for a refresher training? Join us early November at Flagstaff Lake Hut for Sunday caretaker training with an optional Saturday overnight.

Winter caretaking volunteers stay at the huts on self-service days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays) to support our hut staff so they can cycle through days off. They help fuel our wood-fired heating system, clean common areas, answer self-service guest questions and keep the hut tidy. At least one hut staff will always be present for support. Enjoy a cozy stay in the snowy backcountry, and support our organization at the same time!
