Trail Conditions

Maine Huts & Trails employs a full time grooming and trail maintenance crew that works year-round to keep trails in excellent condition. They make sure the wilderness remains as untouched as possible, while still allowing safe, people-powered access to nature.

Although our Maine Hut Trail is always open, be sure to check current conditions before heading out. View Water Release information, Trail Conditions or check Alerts for closures & re-routes. All trail conditions are also available on a downloadable App called TrailHUB. On your cell phone, you can lock your trail map screen for navigation without cell signal. Simply search your activity in Maine (Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, etc.), select the Maine Huts & Trails trail network check mark on the map, follow us, and voilà! Up-to-date trail conditions and information.

If you notice a section of trail that needs attention, please let us know
