Spring Thaw on the Trails

Sunny days and warm temperatures have cleared most of the snow off our trails. There are still be some pesky snow patches at higher elevations, but the lowlands are looking great for spring hiking. Wear your waterproof hiking boots and keep an eye out for muddy areas. Birders, keep your ears open! The woods and water are brimming with wildlife.

Mountain bikers, trails in Carrabassett Valley are currently closed to biking due to wet conditions. The Narrow Gauge Pathway is open and clear for gravel riding. We will post riding updates as soon as they are available.
