Stay With Maine Huts & Trails

Discover our off-grid eco-huts for a memorable backcountry adventure! Available from May to October, they’re perfect for school, community groups, summer camps, and youth organizations to enjoy and explore.

Activities

Paddling at Flagstaff Lake Hut

Guests at our lakeside lodge enjoy use of canoes and kayaks on Flagstaff Lake. We provide life jackets and paddles, plus a drying room for wet gear. The shore offers a protected and shallow launch area, great for all abilities.

Mountain Biking at Stratton Brook Hut

Our highest elevation hut is also located in the middle of the regions best mountain bike trails! Newton’s Revenge, Oak Knoll, and Bear Trail provide intermediate singletrack and doubletrack for riders right outside the hut door.

The Maine Hut Trail System

Adventure exists beyond the hut. Trek on the Maine Hut Trail to the Halfway Yurt or Long Falls Dam from Flagstaff Hut. Hike or bike around the top of Oak Knoll and see the Bigelow skyline from Stratton Brook Hut. The options are endless!

Nature as a Classroom

Discover endless learning opportunities at our remote huts! Grade school to college minds can explore animal tracks, identify trees, and enjoy unique ecosystems. Our outdoor classroom is an experience like no other.
