Harvest at the Huts 2025

Harvest at the Huts 2025

October 2, 2025

What a weekend at Stratton Brook Hut! Stunning fall colors, live music from Vermont’s Landline, and a scrumptious dinner by chef Spencer Lee made it unforgettable.

After enjoying a hike in from the Stratton Brook Trailhead, guests were welcomed by an array of charcuterie boards, fresh apple cider and other local provisions.

After the afternoon grazing session, attendees were treated to a session of live string music from the Vermont duo Landline. Back for another year, Landline’s playful bluegrass and string music was a hit for all ages. The mild fall temperatures allowed for an outdoor concert beneath the large oak trees.

Harvest dinner was a special evening event. Executive Director Wolfe Tone gave the welcome speech and organization introduction. Sense of community was a key feature of the dinner, with MH&T alumni chef Spencer Lee returning for the multi-course meal crafting. Guests feasted on homemade pita bread, salad made with fresh local tomatoes, Maine scallop Tuscan bean soup, Korea ribeye lettuce wraps and chocolate cake with local blueberries.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us at Harvest at the Huts. Seeing new faces, returning alumni, and seasoned regulars made the event special. Thank you for spending your weekend with us at Stratton Brook Hut!
