Board Members in Action at Stratton Brook Hut

This summer and fall, three of our board members traded their meeting agendas for work gloves and tool belts to help spruce up Stratton Brook Hut. The hut needed attention in three areas of its deck, and board members Calen Colby, Fred Prescott, and John Spelke stepped up to the challenge. Together, they worked on:

• The rear wood stacking deck
• The hut staff deck and access stairs
• A section of deck by the bunkrooms

The crew made two separate overnight trips to the hut to tackle the construction, donating their time and skills to keep the hut safe, sturdy, and welcoming for everyone who visits.
