Our Board

Maine Huts & Trails has one of the proudest rosters of board volunteers in any list of Maine’s non-profit backcountry, recreation, or tourism experiences. The visionaries who inspired and built Maine Huts & Trails were among Maine’s most accomplished conservation and recreation leaders who believed in leaving a legacy of partnerships and opportunities that foster access to Maine’s backcountry.

Our board today is committed to continuing that legacy. We believe we can lead in creating backcountry experiences for all in one of the most beautiful, enjoyable, and ecologically important landscapes anywhere. We believe that MH&T’s trails and huts are uniquely inviting spaces to welcome a diverse and inclusive community of individuals, youth and community groups, from Maine and beyond, to enjoy the restorative power of time spent in the natural environment.
