Comfy and Cozy

I didn't know what to expect of the experience given that this was my first time "backpacking".  It was a 3-mile snowshoe hike into Stratton Brook Hut during a snowstorm, but my good friend and I hiked in with relative ease.  We were immediately impressed by the sheer beauty of the accommodations and lodge and were appreciative of the welcome and personable caretaker Sue.  The lodge offered all of the amenities we expected and then some.  I highly recommend the trip and visit and only wish we had more time to hike/visit the other huts!
