We offer full hut rentals outside of our winter season. Flagstaff Lake and Stratton Brook Huts are available to rent mid-May to end of October. Flagstaff Lake Hut will have on-site caretakers, however Stratton will not be staffed. Guests will hike/bike into the hut. Gear shuttles are available for your group, and a staff member will check you in and go over the amenities on-site when you arrive.
- Three huts open everyday from December 27th to March 23rd. Stop in for a day visit or book an overnight trip.
- Two types of trips: Full service with meals provided (Thursday -Sunday) and self service where you bring your own provisions (Monday – Wednesday).
- Optional gear shuttle for full service days. Self service guests pack their gear in.
- Over 20 miles of groomed backcountry trail, linking to miles of additional snowshoe and fat baking routes stewarded by our partners CRNEMBA, the Town of Carrabassett Valley, Sugarloaf, Bigelow Preserve, Appalachian Trail, Northern Forest Canoe trail and the Eastern Divide Trail.
Pricing
- Full Service (Thursday – Sunday): Adults $139 – $154, Youth 12 and under $82 – $97 per person, per night.
- Self Service (Monday – Wednesday): Adults $87 – $97, Youth 12 and under $55 – $65 per person, per night.
Optional Full Service Gear Shuttle
- $135 per hut, for 1-4 guests.
- $270 for two huts, for 1-4 guests
- $405 for three huts, for 1-4 guests.
- Each additional guest bag over 4 guests is $33.75 per hut.
- Guests using gear shuttles must have their bags to the drop-off trailhead by 11 AM day of trip.
Your stay includes:
– Private bunkroom
– Communal great room with fireplace for dining, comfy library stocked with books and games, and outdoor firepit.
– Drying room for damp gear.
– Indoor bathroom with private hot showers (soap included), Clivus composting toilets, and sinks.

Additional Information:
– Huts sleep between 44 and 48 individuals, and have between 7 and 10 bunk rooms. Bunk rooms sleep between 3 and 12 guests. Each room contains a mattress and pillow.
– Due to the remote nature and extreme planning involved, we follow a strict cancellation policy.
– Trips are fully refundable up to 15 days before a trip. Cancellations 14 days of a trip or less are non-refundable. Please read out full cancellation policy before booking.
