Snowshoe to Poplar Stream Hut and Waterfalls

We kicked off the start of our free Winter Program Series with a two waterfall snowshoe loop and a stop at Poplar Stream Hut. A group of thirteen trekkers (some as far away as London!) braved the cold temps for an absolutely gorgeous snowshoe in on Warren’s Trail.

The crew stopped at Poplar Stream Hut for lunch and to warm up. Hut staff Cece and Alexis served up some delicious Pumpkin Ginger Tomato soup and cookies.

After refueling, the group headed down Larry’s Trail to the stunning South Brook Falls. South Brook Falls is a horsetail-style falls, and a popular swim spot on hot summer days.
