Testimonial: Skowhegan Outdoors

“I am one of the team members with Skowhegan Outdoors and we took a group of young mountain bikers up to the Stratton Brook Hut as the overnight experience for the Mountain Biking Summer Learning Series. The cabins blew us all away. The participants were excited by the bunk beds and how much room they had to spread out. The fire pit was amazing at night and we kept it going long into the night. The kitchen space was clean and met all of our needs. Many of the participants enjoyed winding down in the lounge space. There was plenty of comfy couches, puzzles, games, etc to keep them comfortable and occupied. The trails leading up to the hut were well maintained and enjoyable to bike and hike on. There was plenty of space surrounding the hut for the participants to do some sunset biking after dinner. The vista view was a great way to watch the sunset and end the day. Karisma, the hut caretaker, was so kind, funny, and helpful. We appreciated his dedication to keeping the hut up to standards.
