Testimonial: Winter Paradise

“Awesome trip! There was nobody on the trails and we were the only guests at each of the huts every night. Huts is a misnomer, they are lodges in the hills. Showers? Heated floors? Running water? COLD BEER?! We skied to a winter paradise. Stratton Brook was first and warmly welcomed us on a frigid day after over a foot of fresh snow had fallen. Poplar, next, gave us a challenge skiing up the hill, but a fun crew sharing stories made it worthwhile. On our next day we met Tyler along the trail grooming and he graciously started the wood stove for us at the halfway yurt. That was a nice touch and much appreciated! Lastly, the stunning hut on the lake was a nice final stop on our trip. The ladies of Flagstaff Lake were super fun and invited us to their nightly dance party. An event not to be missed! We are hopeful that the grand falls hut can be back online soon and eventually connect the greater picture of the hut and trail system.
