Testimonial: A Quiet Sunday Night

“I had an old gift certificate for a one-night stay at the huts, and I wanted to take advantage of the incredible snow that we’ve had this year. It’s always a treat to come to the huts when full service is in effect and I wanted an adventure with my new fat bike. With my overnight pack strapped to my back, up the hill and through the woods to Poplar Stream Hut I rode. It was a quiet Sunday night with only 4 other guests. It was a nice time for quiet reading, good conversation, and even better food. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing! It reminded me of how special an experience at the huts is, in any season. It inspired me to get trained as a volunteer and hopefully I can come back again to chip in and help with others’ experiences.” —Chris
