“Four “older” friends, all retired, decided to visit Poplar Stream Hut for a late winter adventure. We had THE BEST time!!! The hike in was stunningly gorgeous! When we arrived at the lodge, only the staff was there, so we asked if there were more folks coming. Turns out, we were the only people for the night, and we felt pretty darned lucky!
We had a wonderful happy hour by the fire, with a yummy dinner to follow. This team knows how to cook really well!!!
Got the energy tour after dinner, then relaxed by the fire a bit longer before heading to our bunkhouse. Next morning we had a hearty breakfast, and we were packed a wicked good sandwich for the trail!
