Basecamp trailside for Carrabassett Valley’s mountain bike weekend!
For the CRNEMBA event weekend, Maine Huts & Trails is opening Stratton Brook Hut for a special overnight stay. Each reservation includes a private bunkroom for you and your group, plus a simple breakfast each morning to help fuel your day of exploring, riding, or relaxing.

Meals
Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch and dinner are not included. Lunch will be available for purchase at the hut on both Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is entirely up to you! Bring ingredients and cook in our commercial kitchen, pack a simple meal to enjoy at the hut, or grab dinner in town before making your way up the trail. Please note that kitchen access for dinner may be limited if the hut is busy, and the kitchen will be unavailable during breakfast and lunch service.
A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase throughout the weekend.
Getting There
Stratton Brook Hut is accessible by trail only. Park at the Stratton Brook Trailhead and follow the Narrow Gauge Pathway until the intersection of Newton’s Revenge. From their, ascend via Newton’s Revenge or Oak Knoll Trail. Distance is between 3.1 and 4 miles, with Newton’s Revenge being the most direct.
What to Bring
Guests will be bringing in their own gear via backpack or bike. The essentials are a sleeping bag and pillowcase. We also recommend slippers for inside the hut.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations for individual bunkrooms are refundable up to 15 days before the trip. Reservations within 14 days of the trip are nonrefundable and cannot be modified or rescheduled.
