Join Maine Huts & Trails for the 26/27 Winter Season!
Our Stratton Brook, Poplar Stream, and Flagstaff Lake Huts will open their doors on Saturday, December 26th for the winter season! The huts will be open every day and staffed by four winter hut staff.
Stop In and Warm Up
Come in and warm up by our wood stoves, use the facilities, and enjoy a cup of free coffee or tea. Stratton Brook and Poplar Stream Huts will be open until March 15th, and Flagstaff Lake Hut will close its doors on March 21st this year.
Weekend Public Lunch
If you visit a hut on a Saturday or Sunday, we’re offering public lunch between 12 and 2pm. Enjoy a combination of soup and a main course, available for purchase with cash or card. We also have a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All purchases go to supporting our nonprofit organization.
Stay Overnight
Looking to extend your adventure? Our winter hut bookings are open! Choose one hut, two, or visit all three.
- Monday through Wednesday nights: Reduced-rate, self-service stays
- Thursday through Sunday nights: Full-service experiences that include meals
