Maine Huts & Trails’ biggest fundraiser of the year is back! Join us Saturday, February 28th for the ultimate après culinary experience. Ski, snowshoe, or fat bike to Stratton Brook Hut for a feast by Big Tree Catering. Indulge in hearty bites, homemade treats, charcuterie, and delightful beverages from 11am to 2pm.

The Location
Located at nearly 1900′, Stratton Brook Hut is an cozy aerie among the mountains. Enjoy the comforts of home in the beautiful backcountry of Maine. Stratton Brook Hut is transformed into a casual dining extravaganza with indoor and outdoor food and beverage stations. Trek on up to the hut, warm up by the indoor wood stove, and enjoy the comforts of home all for a great cause. Our hut is only accessible by ski, snowshoe, or fat bike on the Maine Hut groomed trail network, so be ready for adventure of about 3 miles! each way!
The Food
Big Tree Catering brings their delicious feast up from Portland, Maine. Back for the 6th year, the crew will be cooking, shucking, and crafting bites for you in real time. Expect fresh oysters, savory bites, and homemade sausages. Be sure to come with an open palate!
Your Impact
This culinary event is a fundraiser for Maine Huts & Trails. Because of your visit, our trails stay open and free for everyone. Your contributions also let youth and community groups experience the beauty of our trails during the summer season.
Cancellations
Our year-round events are fundraisers for our nonprofit organization. Tickets may be cancelled for a full refund up to 15 days before the event. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable and treated as a donation.
While we understand weather, road, trail conditions and health issues can be challenging, please note that our cancellation policy remains unchanged. For those with concerns, you may wish to consider travel insurance.
