Every mile of trail you love to hike, and every hut that welcomes you in from the weather exists because someone showed up to make it happen. At MH&T, that “someone” is a community of volunteers: individuals, families, and groups who care enough to give a few hours back to the places that give them so much. Whether you’ve been with us for years or just discovered us, there’s a place for you here.
Volunteers are key to everything we do. Opportunities change with the seasons: fall brings winter hut caretaking training, winter offers overnight caretaking, and summer means trail work and fall brings plenty of wood stacking. Winter Volunteer Caretaker Training November 7th
