When: Thursday, October 1, 2026 9 AM – 1 PM
Where: Poplar Stream Hut
Details: This volunteer day will focus on moving and stacking wood at Poplar Stream Hut to prepare for our winter season. There will also be the potential for some light trail work on Larry’s and Warren’s backcountry Trails. We will meet at the Airport Trailhead at 9 AM and get to work.
Feel free to pack a trail lunch to eat at the hut. We will provide some light snacks and Gatorade throughout the morning!
This is a family friendly event! Participants under 18 must be accompanied with a guardian.

If you sign up please consider your trail work clothing. We recommend breathable pants and long sleeve shirt. A hooded long sleeve or a neckie is a great idea to act as an extra barrier. Tall socks are also good for tucking your pants into them, to avoid ticks. Bug nets are another essential item for the woods! Other items: Hats for shade, work gloves, bug spray, and sunscreen.
