Best Hut For

Skiing | Snowshoeing | Fat Tire Biking | Ice Fishing

Flagstaff Hut is situated on the east shore of Flagstaff Lake, the perfect place for families and friends to relax and recharge together. Trails from the hut deliver stunning views of the lake and the Bigelow mountain range. Multiple trails surround the hut, offering great adventures for all ages, in all seasons. Our most popular hut, Flagstaff is a great "first hut" for new visitors.

Winter is an opportunity for an unforgettable winter adventure. Skiing, snoweshoeing and fat biking are all perfect choices for accessing Flagstaff Hut. Wildlife enthusiasts, this is the spot for you! Birders will see Kingfishers, Loons, and Pileated Woodpeckers. Deer, beavers, and playful otters also inhabit the area.

Lunch is open to day visitors on Saturdays & Sundays during winter full service season; see more here >>

Maine Huts & Trails would like to offer special thanks to L.L. Bean, Inc. and Leon and Lisa Gorman for making this hut possible.
