Answers to Some of Your Questions

In light of recent news, you may have some questions. Below are answers to some of them, but please feel free to contact us with any other questions you may have that are not listed here. 

Q. Can I book a winter reservation?

A. Yes, we are accepting winter reservations for self-service at Stratton Brook, Poplar Falls, and Grand Falls. Regrettably, we are not taking full-service reservations for Winter 2019/20. Please keep checking back for information about our winter season or click here to sign up to receive email updates.

Q. I have a self-service trip booked after October 20th, will my trip be affected?

A. Yes, we are accommodating guests booked for self-service stays through March 29, 2020.

Q. I have a gift certificate, can I still use it?

A. Gift certificates can still be redeemed for full-service stays through October 20th at Flagstaff and Stratton Brook Huts or self-service stays after October 20th as well as for retail items in our online store, at the huts, and in our Kingfield office. 

Q. Are dogs allowed?

A. While we do love animals, pets aren’t allowed inside the Huts. Dogs are permitted on the trails from April 15th until November 30th , and must be on a leash or under voice command at all times. Be sure your dog is safe during hunting season by providing a blaze orange bandana or vest. To respect and protect winter wildlife, and to preserve the groomed trail surface for skiers, dogs are not permitted on the MH&T trails during the winter.

Q. I want to make a donation, how do I do that?
